About

The Rev. Brian Williams has responsibilities in the Endowment’s religion and community development divisions.  In religion, his knowledge and experience enhance the Endowment’s efforts to strengthen pastoral leadership in diverse communities and helps congregations develop stronger outreach ministries.  In community development, Williams works to further the Endowment’s efforts to improve the quality of life in neighborhoods, with a special focus on endeavors involving faith-based collaborations. Prior to joining the Endowment, Williams served as a pastor in United Methodist congregations in North Carolina and Indiana. Most recently, Williams was pastor of University United Methodist and associate pastor of mission and outreach at North United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, where he was especially active in helping congregations develop ministries to serve their neighborhoods and in strengthen the work of many local community organizations across Indianapolis.
